NAPA Racing UK Raises Over £32,000 for Race Against Dementia at Knockhill

19 Aug 2026

NAPA Racing UK was proud to bring its support for Race Against Dementia to the forefront at the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) weekend at Knockhill, with a campaign of fan activities and fundraising initiatives.

Founded by three-time Formula 1 World Champion Sir Jackie Stewart OBE following his wife Helen’s diagnosis, Race Against Dementia funds pioneering research to accelerate progress towards a cure for dementia. Throughout the weekend, all four NAPA Racing UK touring cars and the team’s two MINI Challenge contenders carried a special Race Against Dementia livery, helping to raise awareness of the charity’s vital work.

Fans also played a central role in weekend activations, as each NAPA Racing UK driver wore a helmet designed as part of a fan competition, bringing unique supporter designed artwork to the track. Limited-edition merchandise was also available to purchase in the trackside store, with proceeds contributing to the fundraising efforts. Fans can still purchase items online for a limited time only by clicking here

Away from the racing action, supporters braved the wind and rain to join the team and drivers for a track walk around Knockhill. They were also invited to contribute to a dedicated memory wall, sharing messages for loved ones affected by dementia, as well as messages of support for Race Against Dementia and NAPA Racing UK. Spin the Wheel also returned to the NAPA Racing store, a fan favourite giving them the opportunity to win a range of prizes whilst supporting the cause.

Together, the NAPA Racing and wider motorsport community raised over £32,000 across the weekend for Race Against Dementia, with more fundraising activities on-going for the remainder of the season.

Steve Richardson, Managing Director at Alliance Automotive Group, said:

“As a team, we’ve been supporting Race Against Dementia for the past few years, and it means a great deal to everyone at NAPA Racing UK. Dementia affects so many families and communities, including those within our team, and we are proud to use our platform to help raise awareness and vital funds. The response from fans at Knockhill was fantastic as always, and we would like to thank everyone who took part and supported the fundraising activities.”

Fundraising continues until the end of the season, and fans can show their support by adding their name, or the name of a loved one, to the NAPA Racing transporters, bidding on items in the online auction, or donating through the team’s official JustGiving page.
