Alliance Automotive Group Hosts Inspiring Work Placement Day for Billing Brook School Students at Milton Keynes Head Office

11 Jun 2025

Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland was delighted to welcome local students aged 14-16 from Billing Brook School to its Head Office in Milton Keynes for a memorable and enriching work placement experience.

Billing Brook School is a distinguished all-age educational institution dedicated to supporting pupils with complex needs, including significant learning difficulties and autism spectrum disorder. The school fosters a nurturing environment where students thrive and grow to their full potential.

The visit was organised in partnership with Proactive Young People, a charity dedicated to inspiring young individuals to become emotionally literate whilst enhancing the skills they will need from the age of 16 and onwards. The day began with an icebreaker activity for all students and staff in attendance, followed by a business presentation about AAG and some of the key brands they distribute through their stores network. Afterwards, students participated in a variety of engaging activities, including a challenge to identify NAPA parts and a marketing exercise where they pitched these parts to AAG staff.

AAG team members shared inspirational personal journeys, offering valuable insights into their roles and career paths within the company. Special thanks were extended to:

  • Chris Banks, Field Sales Manager
  • Beth Mason, Communications Coordinator
  • Haidee Finnis, Marketing Executive
  • Glen Warren, Customer Services Key Accounts Manager

To close the day, Dan Cammish, Key Accounts Manager and NAPA Racing UK BTCC driver, joined the group for an exciting discussion about balancing his corporate role with racing commitments at NAPA Racing UK. The students were thrilled to get an up-close look at one of the iconic NAPA Racing sales cars.

Kelsey Kerr, Learning and Development Manager, said: “The work placement day with Billing Brook School was truly inspiring. It was wonderful to see the students engage so enthusiastically and showcase their creativity and potential. We’re proud to support their development and help spark their future career ambitions.”

The event was a rewarding opportunity that left a lasting impression on both the students and the Alliance Automotive Group team — a promising step toward inspiring the next generation of talent.
