NRF INNOVATES WITH TRUCK PARTS FOR EURO 6 ENGINES

Since 1927 NRF is a leading manufacturer and supplier of cooling products for the automotive aftermarket, industrial, railway and marine sector. NRF is known for the production of high quality radiators, but also produces and supplies a large range of other engine cooling and air conditioning parts. NRF has 3 production facilities in Europe and 5 in Asia,
including own R&D and testing facilities. For trucks NRF produces a wide range of parts according to the latest emission (EURO6) regulations.

Unique product range for EURO6 engines

NRF is driven by environmental innovations and has a unique product range for EURO6 engines. This range consists of radiators, intercoolers, fan clutches and EGR coolers. NRF is aftermarket leader as a manufacturer and supplier of truck radiators for EURO6 engines. These radiators are totally designed and developed by NRF. EURO6, the European emission standard, defines the acceptable limits for exhaust emissions of new vehicles sold in EU member states. The emission standards are noted in a series of European Union directives. To obtain the EURO6 certificate for an engine, increasing the operating temperature of the engine is needed. This allows to further improve exhaust emissions. Taking the boiling point
of coolant in consideration, increasing pressure in the cooling circuit is key. This development takes radiator manufacturing to a whole new level, since the EURO6 operating pressure is of 4 bars, in contrast to 1,25 bars for EURO4 and EURO5.

Mercedes-Benz Actros MP4 radiators

NRF has successfully engineered and manufactured eight different radiators for the Mercedes-Benz Actros MP4: NRF# 56067, 56068, 56069, 56070, 56071, 56072, 56073, 56138.

NRF EGR coolers
With the new EURO 6 regulations NOx reduction is becoming more important. For an even more effective reduction of NOx, the recirculated exhaust gas can be passed through an EGR cooler. As a result, the combustion temperature will be extra reduced and a larger amount of exhaust gas can be recirculated. NRF offers a wide range of truck EGR coolers and EGR heat exchangers (without housing). The latest introduced EGR coolers NRF partnumbers 48318 and 48319, applicable to the SCANIA P,G,R,T series (EURO4 + EURO5).
