18 Jan 2023

Thomas Tabiasco will take over as General Manager of AAG France as of February 6th 2023.

Thomas Tabiasco joined AAG in 2011 and has successfully held the positions of Chief Financial Officer of AAG France, member of the Board of Directors of GROUPAUTO and Precisium and most recently, Chief Financial Officer of AAG Europe.

Franck Baduel said: “Thanks to his leadership and organizational skills, his pragmatism, his dynamism and his knowledge of AAG, I am convinced that Thomas has all the assets to accompany the development of AAG in France. He will be responsible for developing the collaboration of the teams in order to intensify the satisfaction of our independent member customers, garages and key accounts, and to enrich the parts and services offer in order to strengthen AAG’s leading position in the French market.”

Thomas Tabiasco said: “I am very excited to take on the role of General Manager and lead the French team at AAG. I look forward to working with our customers, our vendor partners, and our experienced and motivated teams. My priorities will be to complete the structuring projects, strengthen our competitive position and continue the growth dynamic.”

Eric Girot will be stepping down from his position as General Manager of AAG France after more than 17 years with AAG.

In the meantime, Franck Baduel, Chief Executive Officer of AAG Europe, will act as interim GM until February 6th 2023.

Franck Baduel said: “Throughout these years, Eric’s professionalism, perseverance, dynamism, creativity and loyalty have contributed to the development of the French perimeter and made AAG a leader in the French automotive aftermarket, for which I thank him sincerely.”

Following this change in management, Steven Jouve was promoted for the position of Operational Director in charge of the French subsidiaries, replacing Thierry Dufour. Steven Jouve has been Regional Director for the South of France for more than 6 years.

Franck Baduel said: “I am convinced that these organizational changes will enable us to further develop the AAG France group by capitalizing on the projects already underway.”
