AAG France Reorganises Management Team

Alliance Automotive Group France are reorganizing their management structure in France with the main objective of consolidation and providing more autonomy across the group.

A year after AAG were acquired by the Genuine Parts Company, Alliance Automotive Group France have unveiled their restructuring plans with the aim of ensuring greater commercial efficiency for the future. The basis for the continued success of their French subsidiary is that they have preserved the identities of their main four distribution groups, Partners, Précisium, GROUPAUTO France and Gef Auto and the new management structure reflects their ongoing commitment to this.

Identities Reaffirmed

The new management structure will allow each of these brands to have their own direction, with Yves Dupont acting as Brand Manager for Partners, Olivier Gibier as Brand Manager for Précisium, Stéphane Grandjean as Director of Gef Auto and Médéric Renouf as the Group Head of GROUPAUTO France. Each of these directors will take over the commercial and strategic responsibility of their brand and will also examine the culture and profile of each of the members of their groups. This will ensure differentiation for each of the brands.

A New Direction

Whilst the co-CEO positions will still be held by Eric Girot and Frank Baduel, as will the positions for their major accounts, PL and Color, led respectively by Serge Boillot, Jean-François Bernard, and Eric Le Gall.

However, the organisation will be managed by a new group sales department. This will ensure that the offers given to members by each company are consistent, whilst allowing each group to develop their positioning in the market. The Sales department will be headed by Florence Galisson, who has been with AAG France since 1993, having previously held the same role for both Précisium and Gef Auto .

AAG France’s new marketing director is Jean-Sébastien Bignozzi. He will be in charge of product marketing, trade marketing and digital marketing and has previously held the position of Director at  Groupauto and Partner’s.

Major Accounts, PL and Color are entrusted respectively to Serge Boillot (previously the director of the bodywork division), Jean-François Bernard and Eric Le Gall.

A new mission has also been assigned to Luc Fournier. Until now,  Mr Fournier has been in charge of the development of the PRE concept within AAG and in particular the Back2Car brand, but he has now taken over the as the newly created group technical manager and will pilot re-used parts activities as well as the workshop activities.
