This year, Ring has launched the Xenon5000, their whitest performance halogen bulb yet, providing factors with a prime opportunity to upsell high specification bulbs which offer better performance, styling and safety.
Modern vehicles often utilise low energy, very white LED daytime running lamps (DRLs). As most cars still have standard halogen headlights, this can lead to an inconsistent look between the white DRLs and the headlights, which will emit a yellow-tinted light, with a colour temperature of around 2700K. Xenon5000 bulbs combat this inconsistency with a colour temperature of 5000K, which provides a high spec white light even next to LEDs.
Not only are they a more attractive option, but they also make nighttime driving safer and more comfortable as the whiter light improves reflections from road signs and markings, and the bulbs put up to 50% more light on the road than a standard halogen headlight. The new Xenon5000 bulbs give drivers a low-cost upgrade that is easy to install and gives instant results, while also giving garages a clear upgrade opportunity and chance to increase profit. As Xenon HID bulbs require the entire headlight unit to be replaced to fit the majority of cars, these Xenon Halogen bulbs offer the perfect compromise to match the brightness of the Xenon HID without the cost and inconvenience of fitting them.
Available from FPS for same/ next-day delivery in the popular H1 (part RW5048), H4 (part RW5072), H7 (part RW5077) and H11 (part RW5011) references, these new bulbs are ECE Reg 37 approved, making them road legal. They do not need wiring changes and come as a twin pack, making them a convenient and cost-efficient solution to replace a fading bulb. The H4, H7 and H11 references also include a stylish silver tip to blend into the headlamp when unlit and give a hi-spec finish.
