Over 60 customers are currently using the Gates reprofiling service, one of these customers currently experiencing the benefits is Car Parts & Accessories (CPA) Sussex.
The service begins with in depth refinement and analysis of CPA’s Gates product offering, based on full product files and a minimum of 12 months sales history. Their product offering is then separated into product groups with the current Pareto inserted.
A Pareto cut off for each group is then applied with further analysis tailored to their needs and requirements. In some cases this is even carried out for a customer’s branches or multiple sites to make sure they are making the most of the products available to them throughout their network.
Gaps in CPA’s product groups are identified and the appropriate products to fill them are recommended based on top group analysis. Similarly the lower end is checked with slow and non-moving products identified as items to be removed.
CPA is provided with two files showing recommendations for stock in and stock out with values. After careful consideration they are then in a position to make the most of our recommendations.
Once agreed, we instigate the collection process and takes care of organising and planning the return of old stock, checks against the files provided, and checks for damage or non-Gates manufactured products.
Once ready to go back into stock the credit is issued, and the sale of the new products to be added to the list is actioned.
