NAPA Racing UK Partners with Ben Automotive Industry Charity

20 Feb 2024

NAPA Racing UK is thrilled to announce its partnership with Ben, the automotive industry charity, for the 2024 season. The partnership will commence with Ben’s Race Across Britain Challenge taking place later this month.

Ben supports individuals who work, or have worked, in the automotive industry, with their health and wellbeing through its free and confidential online self-help, helpline and support services. Race Across Britain marks the beginning of NAPA Racing UK’s commitment to supporting Ben, and the team has planned a range of activities throughout the race season, including dedicated
fundraising weekends and several opportunities to raise awareness for the incredible work done by the charity.

The challenge will see NAPA Racing UK drivers Cam Richardson and Jamie Osborne make their way to checkpoints across the country with no smartphones, a limited budget, and no idea where they will be headed next.

To have a chance of crossing the finish line first and bringing home the trophy, Cam and Jamie will need to dig deep and be as resourceful as possible!

Steve Richardson, Managing Director of Alliance Automotive Group UK & Ireland/NAPA Racing UK said: “NAPA Racing UK and AAG are thrilled to be partnering with Ben Automotive Charity throughout 2024, supporting the incredible work they do for people in the automotive industry. Having worked with Ben in 2023 as our main charity partner, we understand the importance of giving back to the automotive community and this partnership will allow us to make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most. I also want to extend my best wishes to Cam and Jamie for their participation in Ben’s Race Across Britain and eagerly look forward to seeing how they get on in this incredible challenge.”

Matt Wigginton, Director of Partnerships, Engagement & Income at Ben, said: “We are delighted that NAPA Racing UK is working in partnership with Ben and taking on Race Across Britain! Together we will support people in our industry when they face life’s toughest challenges. The generosity of businesses, and their employees, helps ensure Ben is always there for them, and NAPA Racing UK’s commitment will make a life-changing difference.”
