Midwest & Monroe Motor Factors back women’s football

West Midlands based automotive parts distributor, Midwest Motor Factors, is sponsoring Wednesfield Ladies FC ladies football team for the 2018/19 season, and Monmore Auto Parts is sponsoring Wolves Women player Nikita Lal.

Wednesfield Ladies FC compete in the Birmingham County Women’s League Premier Division, while Wolves Women compete in the FA Women’s Premier League.

Midwest will have branding on Wednesfield Ladies kits and Monmore Auto Parts will have branding in the forthcoming season’s programmes for Wolves Women, who play their home games at Bilston Town F.C, also sponsored by Midwest Motor Factors.

Midwest Motor Factors is known as a strong supporter of local clubs and charities in the West Midlands and makes regular donations to local schools and the West Midlands air Ambulance.

Craig McCracken, group factor manager, said: “The growth in women’s football has exploded over the past few years, and we’re delighted to get behind two of the league’s most talented teams for the 2018/19 season. The exposure has increased significantly across the media on a national level, which is a great boost not just for women’s sport but for the local community.

“We want to wish both teams every success for the upcoming season and we’ll be monitoring their progress closely.”
