Alliance Automotive Group UK&I partner with Exotec for new NDC

20 Mar 2023

Global warehouse robotics provider Exotec has announced a significant contract win with Alliance Automotive Group (AAG) UK&I, a large car and commercial vehicle parts supplier working across European markets. The signing is the latest milestone for Exotec in its UK expansion and follows the contract win with AAG France which was announced in June 2022.

The warehouse features Exotec’s complete suite of solutions, including the Skypod and Skypicker systems, Deepsky software and 1,700 metres of Skypath conveyor technology.

Each of the new solutions leverages Exotec’s signature modular design, which allows customers to meet their dynamic business needs by easily adding new elements to their existing systems. Exotec was chosen to help streamline processes and optimise output. Pre-production and installation of the Exotec systems will begin shortly.

Neil Warren, Group Logistics Director for AAG in the UK said, “I am very excited to utilise this technology in serving our customers as effectively and quickly as possible to ensure that we are a company that makes it easy for them to deal with based on the operational flexibility it gives us”.

Rémy Malchirand, Executive Vice President for Western Europe at Exotec said: “After the successful implementation of our 1st system with AAG in France, we are very pleased to continue our partnership with AAG in the UK and are looking forward to working together. The team has a clear vision and we’re delighted to help them realise this with our innovative systems.

“This deal encapsulates the success of our journey in the UK market so far and highlights the size and scale of projects we can implement for customers. Our systems and product offerings will enable a fully automated warehouse that is simple, flexible, and scalable for AAG – allowing for smooth growth and implementation as they expand across Europe.”

Signing with AAG UK&I is another addition to Exotec’s growing international portfolio, with more than 80 customer sites in 14 different countries. Exotec was also ranked eighth in the Financial Times FT1000 list of fastest-growing European businesses in 2022.
