NAPA Racing UK Continues Nostalgia with Iconic 1990’s Valvoline Livery

18 Sep 2025

NAPA Racing UK is celebrating a spectacular response to the return of the iconic 1995-inspired Valvoline liveried Ford cars, driven by Ash Sutton and Dan Cammish at the Donington Park GP rounds of the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). Both drivers delivered exceptional performances, securing podium finishes, with Dan Cammish overcoming fierce competition in race 2 to claim a hard-fought victory in his 200th BTCC race.

Building on this momentum, NAPA Racing UK continues to honour its longstanding partnership with Valvoline at Silverstone which will feature MINI Challenge JCW driver Lewis Selby in a tribute to motorsport history. Lewis’s #18 MINI F56 JCW has been transformed with a “pint-sized BTCC” makeover for appearances at Silverstone and Brands Hatch GP.

The striking Valvoline “V” livery, which illuminated racing circuits worldwide in the mid-1990s across top disciplines such as the BTCC, NASCAR, and IndyCar, has been beautifully reimagined for the MINI JCW. Complementing the car’s retro-inspired paint scheme, Lewis will don an exclusive Alpinestars racing suit replicating the style worn by Ash Sutton and Dan Cammish, including his distinctive #18.

To complete the nostalgic look, Lewis will wear a custom-designed helmet inspired by the legendary Al Unser Jr Valvoline design, expertly crafted by Renat Designs.

Lewis Selby, MINI Challenge Driver and NAPA Auto Parts Managing Director, said: “It’s an absolute honour to be racing in this incredible Valvoline livery that pays tribute to such a legendary era of motorsport. With Valvoline products available through the NAPA Auto Parts network across the UK and Ireland, we are proud to offer our customers the same high performance and quality associated with our racing team.”

The MINI JCW team are proud to use Valvoline SynPower engine oil, renowned for enhancing performance by reducing fuel consumption, lowering emissions, and extending service intervals, perfectly aligning with the demands of modern racing.

NAPA Racing UK and Valvoline invite motorsport enthusiasts to join in the celebration of the past and present, experiencing the blend of heritage and cutting-edge competition on track this season.
