The Independent Automotive Aftermarket Federation (IAAF) is delighted to announce that exhaust supplier Opera Automotive has joined as a member.
The sign-up is another significant endorsement for the IAAF, as it heads towards the end of a very successful 12-month period that has seen regular, ongoing enrolment to its membership from all corners of the aftermarket, including other major suppliers, factors and automotive-related services.
Opera is known throughout the UK as sole distributor of the MTS brand, the exhaust product range – covering silencers, catalytic converters and fitting accessories – featuring over 3000 part numbers. Manufactured in Italy, the entire production process is subject to more than 900 quality controls every day, confirming its conformity to the original part. Opera distributes parts nationwide on a next day delivery service from its purpose-built facility in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
MTS has already started to make a significant impact in the UK automotive aftermarket, by providing motor factors and garages with premium quality product on the market.
The supplier is the latest company set to benefit from the many IAAF services accessible to members, including a brand-new service that has just been launched. Available free of charge as part of the membership, HR Manager Lite is designed to assist employers with legal matters relating to Employment Law, HR, Health & Safety and Data Protection.
Wendy Williamson, IAAF chief executive, said: “It is excellent to welcome yet another new member who is thriving in the UK aftermarket. We look forward to meeting with them at our events over the coming months and I’m sure many of our members will benefit from Opera’s experience and expertise.”
Cristian Sarri, MTS UK managing director, said: “I’m delighted that Opera has now joined the IAAF. We look forward to networking with motor factors and parts distributors, plus gaining better market intelligence, just two of the many opportunities we look forward to seizing as a member.”
