OSRAM launches Night Breaker performance bulb range

With winter just around the corner and UK clocks going back on the 28th October, OSRAM launch their NEW performance upgrade bulbs for the season.

Delivering enhanced brightness and safer car lighting for the longer winter nights ahead.

Now brighter than the legal minimum ECE requirements, the new range of OSRAM Night Breaker performance upgrade bulbs produce an enormous amount of light to improve driver visibility and road safety.

With the launch of Night Breaker Silver and Xenarc Night Breaker Laser and technical upgrades to Night Breaker Laser, OSRAM is raising the bar in terms of the luminous intensity, light beam coverage and light colour this lighting season. The above-average performance of these high-output headlight bulbs means that the road ahead is much better illuminated – so drivers have more time to see and avoid dangerous situations, obstacles and other road users.

The Xenarc Night Breaker Laser in particular, which is up to 200 percent brighter than the legal minimum ECE requirements, helps make car journeys more comfortable and less tiring. A fact appreciated by safety-conscious drivers and especially by the elderly and drivers of sports cars.

With up to 200 percent more brightness than the legal minimum requirements, the Xenarc Night Breaker Laser is the top performance HID (Xenon) bulb in the OSRAM portfolio and is setting new visibility standards thanks to optimised light distribution. Other impressive features of the Xenarc Night Breaker Laser are its up to 20 percent whiter light and a light beam that extends up to 250 metres, enabling drivers to react sooner to dangerous situations. This important safety aspect is particularly useful for drivers with poor night vision, which cannot normally be fully compensated for by glasses or contact lenses. The brightest HID (Xenon) bulb from OSRAM, is available in D1S, D2S, D3S and D4S ECE types.

This results in better performance, a light beam that is up to 150 metres long and a unique design with a laser-engraved product name. The Night Breaker Laser next generation produces up to 150 percent more brightness than the legal minimum and is now available from UK approved partners, stockist partners and distributors in H1, H3, H4, H7, H8, H11, HB3 and HB4 ECE types.

The new Night Breaker Silver offers impressive output coupled with an above-average lifespan. The bulb shines up to 100 percent more brightness on the road ahead with a range of up to 130 metres for much better visibility. Night Breaker Silver is available in H1, H4, H7 and H11 ECE types.
